 Artist Bio:

Irma is an abstract visual artist whose intuitive acrylic paintings are inspired by her alpine European roots, the

rocky landscapes she’s hiked, and the meaningful experiences life has presented her.

Using acrylic paint and mixed media, Irma creates a fusion of organic and geometric shapes, often revealing

hidden details to the viewer. Her colour palette is often rich, vibrant and full of depth. Irma incorporates mark-

making techniques to add texture, further enhancing the intrigue and mystery of her pieces.

Irma strengthens her evolving art practice through participation in both international and local art programs.

She thrives on connecting with fellow artists through organizations like Visual Arts Mississauga, Arts on the

Credit, Oakville Art Society, Waterside Art Group, and the Art2Life Academy. Irma founded and coordinates a

virtual art group that fosters connections and collaboration among artists. Her work has been featured in local

exhibitions, galleries, virtual shows, and is held in private collections.

Through her art, she invites viewers to enjoy a sensory journey, exploring textures, colours, and forms inspired

by the beauty of nature and the experiences of life.
