Debbie Alsip

A little about Debbie:

Debbie has always enjoyed artisan crafts such as woodcarving, silk painting and stained glass.  Acrylic painting, however, is a post-retirement discovery, nurtured to life with her friends at Waterside Art Group. 

She is frequently taking courses to learn new techniques and genres, but she always comes back to her favourite. To study a face and coax it to life on canvas is simply exhilarating!  Debbie's preferred subject matter are all animals, but especially dogs.  Dogs are pure love.  She also enjoys painting portraits of her family.
