Priti Girgla

 A little about Priti:

Priti loves using bold colour, layers of acrylic and oil paints, collage and pastels to work on several paintings at a time.  Each painting then takes its own path to completion and resolution still maintaining some common elements in the group. Working with spontaneity, multiple layering and a balance between simplicity and complexity creates a rich history on her canvas. The paintings capture a fleeting moment and make it last forever.

Priti is an elected member of the Colour and Form Society of Ontario and active member of the Federation of Canadian Artists, Art2Life Academy, Oakville Art Society, Burlington Fine Arts Association and the Waterside Art group. Priti has participated and won numerous awards in Juried Art Shows and in group shows in Oakville, Burlington, Etobicoke and Toronto. She has organized and curated art shows for the Waterside Art Group.
